The Bay Area chapter covers the Northern Central Coast region — from the San Francisco Bay to the Salinas Valley corridor. This chapter is home to the founding Territorial Market collaboration: Stanford Housing Co-ops purchasing collectively from the Coalición de Pequeños Agricultores. Berkeley Student Housing Co-ops and the Bay Area Buyers' Club are in early formation.
On the engineering side, Tech for Liberation at Stanford is converting a trailer into mobile solar cold storage for the Coalición — eliminating refrigerator rental fees and giving farmers collectively owned cold storage infrastructure.
